Egg free recipe
Our traditional pancake recipe made egg-less.
Ingredients
1 cup Barlow's Original Pancake Mix
1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup applesauce
Instructions
Mix 1 cup Barlow's Original Pancake Mix with 1 cup whole milk (add or reduce milk to desired thickness).
Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter and a 1/4 cup applesauce. Stir until smooth.
Heat a slightly greased pan on medium heat.
Pour 1/4 cup of the mix into pan.
Turn when pancakes bubble and bottoms are slightly brown.
Peach Cobbler
Delicious warm peaches topped with a buttery crumb crust. Ingredients cup Barlow's Foods Original Pancake Mix ¼ cup butter or butter alternative ½ cup milk or dairy alternative ½ tablespoon vanilla appx 5 cups peaches (fresh or frozen) 1 cup sugar- ¼ cup butter ½ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp nutmeg 1 tsp lemon juice lemon zest to taste Instructions Mix all batter ingredients until smooth, set aside. Gingerbread butter
Creamy butter with a holiday spice
Ingredients
1 stick softened unsalted butter
2 tbsp. gingerbread spice
Instructions
Soften one stick of butter, do not melt.
Using a fork or hand mixer add gingerbread mixture. mix until evenly combined.
Freeze or refrigerate butter for later use and to form. Remove from the refrigerator and use as needed.
Southern buttermilk biscuits
Melt in your mouth buttermilk biscuits Ingredients 1 bag / 3cups Barlow's Original Pancake Mix 1 1/4 cup buttermilk 3/4 cup butter, cubed and chilled 1/4 cup egg wash (optional) 1/4 melted butter a pinch of salt Instructions Set oven to 450 degrees, and place your mixing bowl in the freezer approximately 10 -15 minutes prior to using. Do not freeze butter but make sure that it keeps a very cold temperature. Cube butter, cut into small squares.
