Buttermilk Berry Scones
Buttermilk Berry Scones with Barlow’s Original 3-in-1 Mix

Ingredients
2 ½ cups Barlow's Foods Original 3-in-1 Pancake, Biscuit & Waffle Mix
¼ cup sugar
1 cup cold butter, cubed
1 cup berries
2 large eggs, whisked
½ cup buttermilk
Instructions
1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2: Cut in the Butter
In a large bowl, combine Barlow's Foods Original 3-in-1 Mix and sugar.
Using a pastry cutter or two forks, cut the cold butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs with pea-sized pieces.
Stir in the berries (cleaned).
3: Make the Dough
Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
Add whisked eggs and buttermilk, then gently stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Do not overmix.
4: Shape the Scones
Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead gently 2–3 times.
Shape into an 8-inch circle, about 1-inch thick.
Place on the prepared baking sheet and cut into 8 wedges, leaving the pieces in place.
5: Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serve fresh and warm, finished with a touch of Barlow's Foods syrup.
