We love breakfast, but even better we love saving time in the morning. Get this quick easy overnight oat recipe. Use Barlow's Strawberry Bourbon Syrup to add a seasonal flavor a just a little bit of sweetness!
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk (any type)
1/2 cup yogurt (any type)
1 tablespoon Barlow's Strawberry Bourbon Syrup
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup chopped fruit or nuts (optional)
In a bowl or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, Barlow's Strawberry Bourbon Syrup, and cinnamon (if using). Stir well to combine.
Add in chopped fruit or nuts (if using), and stir to distribute throughout the mixture.
Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap, and place in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
In the morning, give the oats a quick stir and add additional milk or yogurt if needed to achieve your desired consistency.
Drizzle with Barlow's Strawberry Bourbon syrup, add additional nuts and fruit if desired. Enjoy!
