Easy strawberry shortcakes

These easy delicious strawberry shortcake biscuits will leave you wanting more. 

Ingredients

1 bag Barlow's 3in1 Pancake Biscuit Waffle Mix
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup butter, cubed and chilled
a pinch of salt
Strawberries
Barlow's Strawberry Bourbon Syrup

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl combine Barlow's, buttermilk and butter. 
Kneed, roll dough and cut into medium size rounds. 
Place on baking sheet or cast iron skillet and cook until golden brown. 
Slice strawberries and place in a bowl, combine with Barlow's Strawberry Bourbon syrup. 
Remove biscuits from oven, let cool. Cut in half and fill with strawberry mixture. Add whipped cream (optional) and top with Barlow's Strawberry Syrup.
